Lake Care & Water Quality

Keeping our Big Lake, Little Lake, and pond healthy is one of WLNA's core responsibilities as a volunteer association.

Invasive Plant Management

WLNA organizes and manages the removal of invasive Salvinia and Hydrilla from our lakes and pond. Periodic spraying keeps lily pads and invasive vegetation to a minimum so the lakes stay healthy and usable for residents.

Community Stewardship

Neighborhood workdays are organized as needed to clean up shoreline areas, and members have raised awareness around protecting our shorelines from erosion caused by heavy boat wake on small lakes like ours.

Membership & Dues

Annual dues are $50 per household and directly support lake maintenance, community events, grant applications, and neighborhood improvements.
